Last updated: January 1, 2025. Short version: we collect nothing. Ever.
Wiesel Client ("we", "our", "the software") is committed to absolute user privacy. This policy describes what data we collect (none), how we use it (we do not), and your rights regarding your information (all of them, always).
Wiesel Client is a free, offline software mod for Minecraft. It does not require an account, does not phone home, and does not collect, transmit, store, or process any information about you or your gameplay under any circumstances.
We collect zero data. Specifically, Wiesel Client does not collect:
Wiesel Client makes exactly one network request after installation: it checks our update server for the latest bypass database version (a small JSON file containing AC signature hashes). This request contains no identifying information — not your IP address, not your Minecraft account, nothing. The only data transmitted is a version number to compare against the server's current version.
This update check can be disabled in the Wiesel Client settings if you prefer to update the bypass database manually.
This website (wieselclient.com) uses no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, and no third-party scripts of any kind. Google Fonts is loaded via a standard stylesheet link; consult Google's privacy policy for their data handling.
Wiesel Client does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or data processors. There is no Discord integration, no Patreon API, no analytics service, and no CDN that could log user requests.
Because we collect no data from anyone, we necessarily collect no data from children under 13. This software complies with COPPA by virtue of collecting nothing whatsoever.
If this policy is ever updated, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. We will never introduce data collection without prominent notice and an updated policy date.
